We treat people as people
Our consumers are adults with histories, families, opinions, and goals. The treatment plan starts with what they want, not with what is convenient for us.
Home / About Us
New Living Health Care Services is licensed and certified by the District of Columbia and accredited by the Council on Accreditation to provide behavioral health and supportive services.
Mission
The oversight and licensure opportunity for behavioral health treatment services in the District of Columbia was awarded to us by the DC Department of Behavioral Health.
Vision
New Living Health Care Services is dedicated to providing exceptional and appropriate behavioral healthcare, prevention, education, and support programs to the residents of Washington, DC. It is our vision to enhance lives and restore hope.
A Core Service Agency is the anchor of a person’s behavioral health care in the District. It is the agency responsible for assessment, for the treatment plan, and for making sure the plan is actually delivered — not just written.
New Living works to support our clients’ success in the community and to reduce the risk of hospitalization through medication management, therapy, and other supportive services.
We are committed to serving District of Columbia residents and providing the support that encourages a journey to a healthy new way of living. We take pride in the fact that our services build confidence by giving people the skills and the backing it takes to reach whatever goals matter to them.
What we hold ourselves to
Our consumers are adults with histories, families, opinions, and goals. The treatment plan starts with what they want, not with what is convenient for us.
Community support means community. Our workers meet people at home, at the pharmacy, at the benefits office — wherever the barrier actually sits.
The hospital is the most expensive and least therapeutic place a person can end up. Keeping people well and connected is the whole point of the work.
New Living adheres to quality assurance standards and actively promotes the use of approved treatments in the provision of services.
